Updating PATTI REST cookie
After a Docuware update, the REST url was changed and PATTI's rest calls to Docuware stopped working. After updating the REST url and the saved cookie, the REST calls started working again.
1. Download the Docuware postman collection
The postman collection can be found here: https://developer.docuware.com/rest/examples/postman-collection-download.html
Note: Download Postman if you don't already have it.
2. Open collection and select Forms Authentication under the collections Authentication tab
To open the collection, hit the new button and select collection. This will open up the list of Docuware documented REST calls.
3. Setup REST parameters
Environment Variables:
- ServerUrl: svr-docware (subject to change)
- Platform: docuware/platform
Body Variables:
- UserName
- Password
Note: Fill these credential fields with the pattisvc accounts info. This account should not be used to log in to the web client.
4. Receive Cookie from response
After parameters are set up, click send. Once your response is successful click on "Cookies" right below the send button. Click on the cookie that begins with .DWPLATFORMAUTH= and copy the text.

5. Navigate to Adeptia under services > web services > consumer
Any web services that begin with PATTI_docuware need to have their cookie updated. Select one of the services and click next. Update the URL in case it was changed and replaced the current cookie with the new one. After saving the REST call to Docuware should be working again.
